Welcome to Chlorophyll. By accessing or using our service at chlorophyllai.com and app.chlorophyllai.com, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Chlorophyll, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Chlorophyll is a garden tracking application that helps you manage your vegetable garden from seed to harvest. Features include planting calendars, USDA zone detection, photo diaries, and growth tracking.

3. Account Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old to use Chlorophyll
One person or entity per account; accounts are non-transferable

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Upload malicious content or spam
Reverse engineer or scrape the application
Impersonate another person or entity

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, notes, garden data). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it within your account. We will not use your content for marketing or share it publicly without your consent.

6. Service Availability

Chlorophyll is currently in beta. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Pricing & Payments

Chlorophyll currently offers a free beta. Future paid tiers may be introduced. We will provide advance notice of any pricing changes. No payment information is collected during the beta period.

8. Limitation of Liability

Chlorophyll is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

Crop failures or gardening outcomes based on our recommendations
Data loss due to circumstances beyond our control
Inaccuracies in USDA zone data or planting calendars

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Chlorophyll after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
